Here's my 2013 Snowman Card!  Probably one of many- I know cuz I have this same card pattern for another blog entry coming up! It folds up wonderfully to fit inside a standard A4 envelope. BUT if it didn't- I could make my own envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board.

I used Winter Frost Designer Series Paper  Stack 132183 that is found in the Holiday Mini Catalog

PUMPKIN PATCH

The PUMPKINS are ripe for picking!  I love PUMPKIN pie, bars, & bread, but I don't these little cuties will be cut for that purpose! Pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes so these 3 dimensional Pumpkins were made using several Stampin' Up! products.  I will post under each Pumpkin picture the way I made it.

Label Framelits 125598, Small Oval Punch 120908 , Little Labels 126881 (stem)

Decorative Label Punch 120907 (tall), Little Labels Punch (stem & leaf)

Decorative Label Punch 120907 (wide), Little Labels Punch (stem & leaf)

Hexagon Punch 130919, Little Labels Punch (stem & leaf)

Curly Label Punch 119851, Little Labels Punch (stem & leaf)

DSP- I used various shades of Oranges in the Regals, Brights & Subtles Paper Collection for the Pumpkins.  The Stems are Early Espresso and the leaves are Pear Pizzazz.

Each Pumpkin was made by punching 12,  folding in half,  and then gluing together.

Curly Cues- I ran a strip of Washi Tape on a piece of Pear Pizazz Card Stock and cut REAL thin. Spritz with water and wrapped around a small dowel.  I dried it using the Heat Tool.

WATERMELON TREAT BAG

An adorable Watermelon Slice Treat Bag Topper was perfect for these Yummy Gummy Watermelon chewy Candy!  They were a hit for the 3D project at September's Card Class. I am sure that when Mr. H. comes to stay with Grammy this week, he might like to try one!

I used the Circle Framelits to cut out the topper and then embossed with the cute little Heart Embossing Folder.

TIMELESS TALK POCKET CARD

I included this card for September's class. A bit of vintage but still crisp & clean with a twist by making it a pocket card. I love using the neutral colors and the beautiful layers with the Doily and Embossing Folders and silky Seam Binding Ribbon. I was tickled that I had a grandma & her granddaughter and 1 mom & her daughter to share the classes with. I think spending time and doing it with hand-made cards is so important in children's lives. Even with the advancements in the electronic age of computers, emails, texts- which we all love- we can get so much satisfaction from crafting and sharing.

HEXAGON WINDOW VIDEO & BLOG HOP!

Welcome to this week's blog hop featuring Tangerine Tango. You may have arrived here from Joni's Blog.  Look for the lineup at the bottom of this post and visit the designers- (p.s. we all love visitors and comments). If you are continuing on.... hop on over to LIZ's Blog!

The Color Coach Combos were-
1. Tangerine Tango, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise
2. Tangerine Tango, So Saffron & Pacific Point

I went with Combo #2.  There is a lot of "white space" to this cheery card.

I made a quick tip video to show how to make the Hexagon Window in the card and a add a banner. Watch it for inspiration for your next punch window card.

TIMELESS TALK & BLOG HOP

inside narrow border of DSP

blinged out phone

Each Wednesday Robbie hosts Coloring Down the Lines,  a blog hop using the Color Coach.  We are featuring Rich Razzleberry. The pairing choices were 1. Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, & Old Olive or 2. Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, & Basic Gray.   I chose the 2nd and used Timeless Talk Stamp Set and felt the DSP Modern Medley(126926)  had a vintage flair to compliment the rotary dial phone.

You may have hopped here from JONI's Blog, I can't wait to visit her and the other designer's blogs today.
Next on the blog hop is Liz- but she is having camera issues and will post a picture at another time.  You can leap over her and visit SANDY at Ice Mountain Designs as the hop continues.

PRICELESS HARVEST

In celebration of the "Sweet Corn Harvest" and it's short season I made this card.  My father in law has been so generous by picking me up dozens of ears of corn from his favorite corn stand and then I boil them for 5 mins and cut them off the cobb and freeze them to enjoy them til the next harvest.  He joins us for dinner several times a week and we love the sweet corn from time to time.

LADYBUG CARD

I love square cards! This cheerful little ladybug will be going out today to someone special who is going through a very difficult time & will be needing a lot of hugs either in person or by mail.  I found the perfect sketch at Hand Stamped Sentiments for their current sketch challenge. What I love about design challenges is that it takes the guess work out of the end results.  You just add your own colors, papers & stamps.
