Stampin' Up!s Wood Mount Cases are so versatile and I have put them to use is several ways.  Today's project was made with my daughter-in-law in mind.  She opened her home up to watch a couple of children a couple of days a week along with her own 2 little ones. I created some inserts using My Digital Studio for each of them to have their own box to store their crayons, stickers, coloring pages and treasures. Crayons and Swatchbooks fit wonderfully inside.

The Wood Mount Cases come 4 in a package. I used the FULL size cases for this project. (127551).

The inserts were printed through the professional printing services through My Digital Studio.  Each case has a Ribbon Handle (Chevron or Striped).  I used the Cropadile to make the holes in the top and then used 12" of ribbon- knotted on the inside of the box.

All in the Family (children & pets) & School Days (crayons)

We have some awesome new products in the Occasions Mini Catalog that just arrived and I jumped right in to stamp with the new set- Hello, Sailor.  It looks fabulous with the coordinating Designer Series Paper- High Tide.

This beautiful card was inspired by the vintage vibes of the DSP- Afternoon Picnic. The stripes with the floral remind me of the wallpapers in my first house. Florals & Stripes with a Chair-rail and a Trunk print in the dining room with a table, chairs and hutch.  Oh my! does that mean I'm vintage!!?  This is one of those cards that will need extra postage if you are mailing, but worth it! I am making a "card box" with tissue paper to give for a gift to someone fabulous.

Stamp Set: Million & One
Ink:  Early Espresso, Soft Suede (sponging around edges)
Card Stock:  So Saffron, DSP- Afternoon Picnic (131390)

Welcome to this week's Color Down the Lines Blog Hop.  You've probably noticed that Robbie & her Blog Team have added a twist for each week's hop.  This week is "ADD A CIRCLE" and the Color feature combo I chose is Pool Party, Wild Wasabi & Chocolate Chip.  The Topiary is made with Circle Punches and the DSP Soft Subtles- Wild Wasabi & Pool Party.  The Planter and Clouds were made using the Cupcake Builder Punch. I used the Circle Collection for the framing of the Tree. Sweet Essentials Stamp Set has a beautiful font and a variety of greetings.

The next stop on the hop is LIZ

This week's Color Challenge at Pals Paper Arts #186 includes Island Indigo, Gold and Whisper White.  I layered the Hearts using the colors. The Love Thinlit was also made using the Gold Glimmer Paper.  I first put the Glimmer Paper on an Adhesive Sheet before running it through the Big Shot, it worked like a charm to add it to the card without a glue mess!

I have always loved this color combo of Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand.  The DSP Modern Medley has fabulous patterned paper featuring Basic Black and Very Vanilla. It contains newsprint, birds, sheet music and a variety of patterns.
This 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card can be duplicated using a variety of  large stamps stamped in Sahara Sand and then stamp a greeting in Stazon Black.  I softened the Vanilla & DSP with a Sponge and Crumb Cake. The Pearls were colored Black with a Sharpie Permanent Marker.
Stamp Set:  Simply Sketched (HS)
Ink:  Stazon Black, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Very Vanilla
And More:  Stripes EF, Pearls, Sharpie Marker, Envelope Punch Board
