STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE PENNANTS

MMMMMMM!  How about Strawberry Cheesecakes in these cute little shot glasses?  The Pennant Builder Punch add some playfulness to the toothpick skewers. Cut your washed strawberries in half and add a cube of cheesecake between the two halves on the skewer, present them in a shot glass (got them at the dollar store). The strawberries on the  pennants is from the Cheers Stamp Set. These were some snacks that I had for a get together.

AUTUMN ACCENTS

September's Card Class included this card with Autumn Accents Bigz Die and Core'dinations Card Stock. The leaf is ran through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder then sanded with out new Sanding Blocks and brushed lightly with Shimmer Paint.  I crinkled it up before attaching it with Stampin' Dimensionals. I don't thik it shows up very well, but I colored the white stitches in the ribbon with Tangerine Tango to compliment the Tango in the plaid paper & layers.

SO KIND OF YOU WITH BLING

I think Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year.  I am sad that the color pallette is so short of a season.  This card is made using various items from the Holiday Mini Catalog (HM). Just like Fall, there are so many textures and patterns in this card. Try the Core'dinations Card Stock to make your leaves look like a fallen leaf on a crisp Autumn day.

Visit Stampin' Celebration SCIS #58 to see what other Fall Designs for September's Challenge is.

Another Challenge at Butternut Sage Designs is Glitter Fall.  I snuck a leaf of Champagne Glimmer Paper to Bling it up. Hop on over and take a look at the other designer's challenge interpretations. Join us by making your own Glitter Fall project and adding to the entries.

MINI JARS

These precious Mini Jars are filled with GORP- good ol' raisins & peanuts! with a precious tag using Friendship Perserves and Orchard Harvest Fabric.  I loved the fact that these jars had a flat bottom or a flat side to display them.

There's only a few days left for you to have a chance at getting this fabric and a Perfectly Preserved Package!  See the details HERE!

PERFECTLY PRESERVED #2

The idea for this card came straight from the Holiday Mini Catalog, page 29.  We made this in our Card Class last Friday.  Some of the changes I made from the mini included  1. Using the Woodgrain Background Stamp horizontally and vertically to make the "web" pattern instead of Designer Series Paper on More Mustard Card Stock (thank you Teri B for your idea!) . 2. I used the Neutrals Buttons instead of the Brushed Bronze. 3. The ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding in place of the Natural Cotton Ribbon.  It's fun to tweek an idea if you don't have the "exact" same products.

If you would like to leave me a comment by Sept. 20th, you may have a chance to have this stamp set Perfectly Preserves for your projects.  See previous post HERE.

ORCHARD HARVEST FABRIC

You wanna try something YUMMY?  I am one of those crazy girls who doesn't like chocolate, yep, now I said it!  I bake with it, I buy it, but I won't eat it. I keep alot of it around for the family & friends. Most little ones know that I have a bowl or 2 around of chocolates for them to eat.  After all, they are going home after I wind them all up with sweets!  ..... ok, back to the yummy part....

These are M & Ms new version of white chocolate candy corn! They are fabulous.  Yes, I eat white chocolate, so it must be the cocoa flavor I can't stand! I was happy the whole bag didn't fit into the jar... but my hips aren't so happy!

Now a little bit about the project.... This cute little jar is made into a pin cushion.  There is batting between the fabric and the jar lid.  The fabric is also part the the Orchard Harvest collection.  The stamp set is Friendship Preserves from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The beautiful butterfly is our new Butterfly Punch with accents of Jewel Pearls.

You can leave me a comment and have a chance at receiving the fabric.  See details HERE.

YUM indeed!

BACK TO SCHOOL LUNCH BOX

Where did the summer go?  In a blink, it's time to go back to school.  Butternut Sage Design's Theme this week is Back to School.  Several years ago, I purchased the Travelling Trio Tutorial from Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho.  Her middle case was a perfect inspiration pattern for my Lunch Box today.  I needed to tweek it a bit to accomplish the look & size I wanted. You can purchase the tutorial from Becky and make your own! Miss Minnie Mouse was done with Circle die cuts & Punches.  The Polka Dot Designer Paper is perfect to reflect that famous dress pattern that Minnie usually wears.

You're invited to play along with us at Butternut Sage Designs

..... and the goodies inside!  I covered the mini composition notebook to compliment the Minnie Theme.  I used the stamp set Fabulous Phrases on mini Post-it notes  to leave some messages inside.
