Feels like I've been missing in action!  But behind the scenes, I've been punching like CRaZy! I am working on some cards for Stampin' UP!'s Convention in a few weeks.  Today I took a fun break and tried out my new Regarding Dahlias Stamp.  It's striking in Melon Mambo on a white background and with a POP of Daffodil Delight!

Here is a side view of  the layers.
Tip:  I stamped the image 3 times and cut out the center section, then middle section and then layered them with dimensionals.

Stamp Set: Regarding Dahlias
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Card Stock: Whisper White
And More: Bright Candy Dots, Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon

I will have to be ordering some more of these Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (130927)!  I made them for the new neighbors and stuffed them with some YUMMY Chocolate Almond Macaroons!  I also shared them with family and friends.  You can bundle them and save when you order the Boxes or Bags with the Accessory Kit.

The YUM tag is from the stamp set Friendship Preserves and then cut out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits.

These are addictive, so don't eat them before you package them up to share!
Chocolate Almond Macaroons
(Almond Joy Bites) via Laura Haffke
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/4 t. Salt
2 t. Vanilla
14 oz. pkg Coconut
1/2 c. Almond Slices
2 squares Chocolate Almond Bark
Oven 350*
Mix Condensed Milk, Salt & Vanilla in a large mixing bowl.  Add Coconut and stir.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper. ( I use the air bake sheets for even baking).
Use a small scoop (1-2 T. size)  and place on parchment paper. I fit about 16 on each sheet.
Bake 15 minutes. Cool.
Toast Almond Slices in oven 350* for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Melt 2 Chocolate Almond Bark Squares in microwave safe bowl (30 seconds, stir, 20 seconds, stir).
Divide in half, put half in a small ziplock bag.
With the remaining chocolate, drop a small amount of melted chocolate on each macaroon. Sprinkle with Toasted Almonds.
Snip a very small corner of the baggie and drizzle on top of the Almonds- zig sagging back and forth. After they have cooled, they are ready to eat or share!

Look who came in the mail yesterday! "HELLO TO YOU"  PAPER PUMPKIN KIT!! It has directions for 4 cards and envelopes plus die cuts and a Soft Suede Stampin' Spot Ink, also.....  Hello to You Stamp, Heart Stamp, and a Chevron Background Stamp. I couldn't wait to make a couple of cards! The first one is the suggested design of the card kit. I couldn't resist popping up some of the pieces on Stampin' Dimensionals! I also stamped the Heart image on the outside envelope where the recipient's address will go.

Inside and Side View

And now for the Conversion Version!
1.  I added more Die Cuts and shapes.
2.  Stamp the Hearts on the Daffodil Delight  shapes.
3.  Stamp just the  "HELLO" 4 times on the front, without re inking- giving it the variegated look.
4.  Stamp HELLO and cut out the letters and place in the window shapes.
5.  Stamp the Chevron off and stamp it on the envelope front and then add Hearts.

Looking for a Masculine Card for that Guy in your life?  This card is ready for any occasion, I deliberately left off a sentiment so it would be flexible when I need it. There are some AWESOME ideas in the Annual Catalog to help you design your cards.  I CASed (copy & share) this idea from page 108 with a few changes.  l. I used Designer Series Paper Epic Day. 2. Used Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock instead of Crumb Cake. 3. Added a Compass to the center. 4. Added more Gears.
Stamp Set: Clockworks
Ink:  Versa Mark, Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar
Card Stock: Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla

Get a package of Note Cards with your next Stampin' UP! order to make some quick cards to have on hand or give away.  We have new neighbors moving in shortly (actually 3 homes just sold!) and I am going to welcome them with a card and some goodies. This new Hostess Set is Sweetly Framed and it coordinates with the Decorative Label Punch.

Stamp Set:  Sweetly Framed, Gingham Wheel  (I remove mine from the wheel and convert to a flat stamp to use with a clear acrylic block.)
Ink: Black Stazon, Coastal Cabana
Note Cards with Envelopes
Tip:  Punch the card base and make a window, use that punched piece and rotate it to adhere to the front of the card for a change from the standard looking cards.

How about a WHIMSICAL CAT, MINI GOLD FISH, AND A FISHING SATCHEL for today's Color Challenge at The Paper Players?  Funny how Mini Gold Fish become part of our snack stash since becoming grandparents!

When you remove the snack bag, you have one fish left not to be consumed and then it's time to fill up the snack bag again!

I made the tag using My Digital Studio and printed them off using Whisper White Card Stock on my own printer. The Fish Image is a digital design from Stampin' Up! and you can use ANY Font for your text that is on or uploaded on your computer. You can add to your fonts by searching for FREE fonts.

For June's Class we are making the Satchel as the 3D Project. Lot's of fun products to play with from Stampin' Up! I still use the old punch styles.
TIP:  For class prep, I punch out the image and adhere to the punch to be used with the image, it sure saves a lot of mistaken punched images!

I am just tickled with how the Cat turned out with the treat cup. I really don't think he wants to eat the fish, he is just protecting them! (wink).

Stamp Set:  Really Good Greetings
Card Stock: Early Espresso, Pool Party, So Saffron, Calypso Coral
DSP: Epic Day
Ink: Early Espresso
And More: Treat Cup, Punches, Punches and More Punches! Big Shot, Lattice EF, Linen Thread, Skewer

Happy Stampin' & Punchin'!

This is Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape. It makes me think of picnics and bouquets of fresh cut flowers.  I also used the Stamp Set Really Good Greetings. The Sketch Challenge at FAB FRIDAY #19 was my inspiration for the layout.  I am also using this card for one of the 3 cards at June's Card Class.
Stamp Set:  Really Good Greetings
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Card Stock:  Melon Mambo, Whisper White
DSP: Gingham Garden
And More:  Gingham Garden Washi Tape
Tip- Run a piece of Washi Tape on Whisper White Card Stock and then cut out and flag the ends for a banner. The Card Stock gives it some stability.
How about the same card in Island Indigo?  This also part of Gingham Garden DSP.

The Dress Up Framelits are so versatile.  I layered several dresses after running them through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. Stampin' Up! has a new product in the current Annual Catalog it is Simply Pressed Clay and Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds.  I was happy with how easy it was to make the flowers. The one on the Dress waistline is the smallest on the mold and I adhered it to the ribbon/dress with Glue Dots. You can purchase the pattern for the purse in LAURA'S STORE and watch the YouTube VIDEO to make your own specialty purses.

Perfect size for a standard gift card or add a small gift such as earrings, necklace, charm, or CASH !

Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
