VINTAGE BIRD CARD - CASED

I was sent a photo (thank you Gale) of a beautiful card using some of the FREE Designer Series Paper- Irresistibly Yours and Stamp Set- You Brighten My Day from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog. I loved the card and the technique that Elizabeth used that I made one with the supplies that I had on hand. There are several steps but SO worth it!

LOVE LIFE LEMON

We are featuring another Stamp Set from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog- A Happy Thing.  I used the Blender Pens and the Reinkers to "loosly" color in the Lemon and Leaves.  You can also use the Blender Pens to get a beautiful effect. I was going for a soft vintage look.  Do you LOVE the new Ribbons used?  They are from the Occasions Mini Catalog- White Jute & Sahara Sand Lace Trim.  

My inspiration from this card came from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  I combined the look from both images on pages 18 & 19 and made it my own with a few other touches.  Where do you get your inspiration from?

THANK YOU CARD FEATURING SCORING TECHNIQUE

We are scoring on paper for this week's inspiration at THE PAPER PLUNGE.  I used my Simply Scored and Stylus to make 4 score lines 1/4" apart on all 4 sides of the paper. It makes a beautiful framed background. Simple. Elegant.

I stamped the Flower Medallion 4 times and then punched out one using the Flower Medallion Punch and cut out the different layers and offset them to add dimension.

TIMBER!   I couldn't resist!  Take a LUMBERJACK add a TREE  and a SAW and you have a recipe for a moving slider card! We made some at our class this month and all left with the most adorable masculine card that moved!
