Hello "Color Down The Line" Blog Hop Visitors.  Did you arrive from JONI'S Blog? Today's Colors were Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze or Basic Black, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight. I used the Stamp Set For The Birds- again. This time I stamped with Stazon Black ink on colored Card Stock, fussy cut out the mailbox and the bird.

There is a  Sketch Challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments #160 that I made today's card for.  I used the Stamp Set For the Birds and repeated the Ric Rak from the Tasteful Trim Die with a rainbow of bright colors. Get out your Stampin' Up! Markers and color your line art images!  I am so happy that spring has finally arrived!

EPIC DAY WITH FABULOUS PHRASES

 

Today's Technique is QUICK & EASY using the Butterfly Punch.  I punched the Butterfly 3 times and then adhered DSP behind each Butterfly.  Should we call it and Inlay Technique?  The DSP is This & That Epic Day which is new this year in the 2013/14 Annual Catalog.  Next Week the new Catty goes LIVE!

 

This Card uses minimal supplies and is lovely. Any word stamps, any punch, any DSP, any neutral card stock!

 

Stamp Set:  Fabulous Phrases

Ink: Basic Gray

Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Gray

And More: Butterfly Punch

FABULOUS FLORETS WITH SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE

 

It's a SPOTLIGHT on Fabulous Florets using the new Designer Series Paper- This and That Epic Day. The Butterflies are captured in a Treat Cup that showcase several patterns from the DSP 12" x 12" pkg. 

 

Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets

Ink: Basic Black (note to self.... use Black Stazon, Basic Black tends to stay wet and smudge a bit.  Don't look too close... I didn't want to start over even though a few areas have smudges... oh ya, just add a few more butterflies over the smudges!!!!- good thinking!)

Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Black

And More:  Treat Cup, Butterfly Punch, 1", 1 3/8" & 1 3/4" Circle Punches

 

Spotlight Technique-  Stamp a line image (flower) in black stazon all over the card stock.  Stamp the same line image (flower) in black stazon on DSP. Punch out circles on the DSP using 1" and 1 3/8" circle punches. Layer on top of White Card Stock.
