GIFT CARD POCKET PURSE & BACKPACK!

I am excited to share with you a cute idea for a Gift Card Purse. When you open the purse flap, the gift card pocket slides up for viewing.  They also make adorable pockets for a little note or an invitation. I brought the pattern and supplies to use for my Make & Take at a private SU Convention Party in Salt Lake City with Donna, Robbie, Amanda, Helen & Sandy.  I have a video to upload in a few days. I was also thrilled to turn it into a backpack for the lil' or big guy in your life.

BIRD HOUSE & SCRAPBOOK JOURNAL

I have fallen in love with bird houses and when Laura Denison Designs from Following the Paper Trail announced she was going to do a series of bird houses with scrapbooks inside, I ordered several of her patterns to make them.  This is her "April Showers" Bird Abode. You can order a pattern directly from her and make your own!  Her videos teach you how to assemble and several book binding methods.

They also make great card boxes or for your personal stationery.  You can sneak a gift inside or some yummy treats.  I have some bird houses on my mantles for spring.

This House and the Scrapbook went to ROBBIE as a gift exchange at our Stampin' Up! Convention.

Adorable Umbrella hangs over the Perch.

The roof opens to conceal a Scrapbook Journal.

Just love the design of this House and Book.
Thank you Laura Denison for sharing your talents with us!

EPIC DAY SCRAPBOOK JOURNAL

Today's project is a scrapbook journal that I had made to take to Stampin' Up's! Convention for a gift exchange. I loved making it with the DSP Epic Day.  I gave the extra die cuts with the gift so they could continue adding to the pages as they like.   We had a gift exchange and I was thrilled to receive another scrapbook journal from Robbie.  It is awesome to get a gift that you can fill with your favorite pics & memorable notes.  I don't have a step by step instructions to share because I got this awesome idea from a great designer- Laura Denison Designs.  You can visit her blog to find out how to make this also.  I will post the bird house that the journal was tucked in on another day this week.  I hope you stop back to see it also.

FROSTED FINISHES NECKLACE & MORE

OOOOOOOOOOH!  I loved taking the Frosted Finishes Embellishments from the Holiday Mini and making them into a stunning, sparkling, elegant Necklace!  I also added one to a book ring for a keyring charm.  For SU! Convention, we all get the same "Convention Bag" and I went to Walmart and had tags engraved to  personalize mine.

STAMP CASE LUGGAGE

It was fun converting the Wood Mount Stamp Case into a piece of luggage.  You can slip your favorite patterned DSP into the sleeve and turn your plain case into a work of art!

Store your Stamps, Markers, Pearls, Rhinestones, Candy Dots, Crayons, Sponges, Daubers, Reinkers.... and the list can go on and on and on! Add dividers to make a stationary set. Endless Possiblities! Search Wood Mount Stamp Cases for tons of ideas.

This cute little Notebook and Dress UP Framelit Highligher were part of the goodies that went inside the Wood Mount Luggage Case.

OWL TREAT PURSE & TEMPLATE

Whoo-Whoo wouldn't love this lil guy with a Peppermint Patty inside?  I have been saving those little plastic containers FOREVER- you know, the ones the brads, buttons, trinkets, clips, etc..... come packaged in! I made them into little owl treat purses to take to Stampin' Up!  Convention for 3D gifts. You can stuff them with your favorite lil gift or leave the buttons, brads, clips etc... inside!

I used one of my favorite products- Sticky Rounds to adhere the Owl to the front of the container- they are the PERFECT SIZE 2 1/2" circles.

The first pictures are using Epic Day DSP.

Grab your Crop a dile for the ease of putting holes in the plastic container for the ribbon handle to slip in and tie in place.

These Owls are made with Venetian Romance DSP.

The Ruffle Ribbon fits wonderfully around the lid's outside edge.

SEE.... the candy is gone! time to refill!
