GIRAFFE CONGRATS!

 

This polka dot DSP from Season of Style (Holiday Mini Catalog)  is so versatile. I paired it with Zoo Babies Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler.  It also looks fabulous with shades of pinks for a baby girl shower. The Crumb Cake Circles were punched out and glued around the giraffe- trimming the overhang of circles and then layered.

Stampin' Celebration has a monthly Inspiration Challenge and then mid month they add a Sketch Challenge.  Today's card is a combo of both colors and layout. 

 

I combined the shades of Oranges, Yellows and Pinks from SU!  DSP Color Collections and mostly highlighted Melon Mambo. I used the small Butterfly Punch & Postage Stamp Punch.  The Stamp Set is Million & One.

Make it a square card. Cut the card base  length to 4 1/4". Use the Envelope Punch Board and make an Envie. Cut  CS to 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" Score @ 3 5/8".

WINTER BOOTS

 

 

It won't be long now before we will be getting our boots out!  I don't have any as cute as these but my toes will be toasty warm.  This card was a make & take at this month's workshop and Monthly Card Class. 

The background is stamped with Illuminate ink pad using the Festive Flurry Snowflake (HM pg 30). I stamped the boot on Whisper White and Pool Party then cut out the Pool Party boot and glued it on top of the White base. Use the White gel pen to color in the pom pom on the Pool Party. We glammed out the boots with a Rhinestone.

AUTUMN MUSLIN BAG SIMPLE & SWEET!

 

Gently Falling is a 2 step Stamp Set.  Stamped in Soft Suede and then use the complimentary solid image stamped in Pumpkin Pie and lightly sponge Cherry Cobbler on the stamp before lining it up on the outline leaf image.  We filled these with some mini candy bars for a yummy gift at October's Card Class.  The Muslin Bags are in the Holiday Mini Catalog 132180 - 8 per pkg.

PUMPKIN WINDOW CARD

 

 

 

 

 

Window Cards- a nice change of pace from a traditional card and aren't difficult to make.  If you have the Square Collection Framelits 130921, you can make this window in two steps. 

Square Collection Framelits- there are 8 layering dies.

 

1. Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4" - Place the 3rd square from the center on your DSP where you want the window and run through your Big Shot- use the Magnetic Platform to hold in place.

2. Card Base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Center the DSP on the card base and line up the  2nd square from the center in the middle of the cut out in the DSP (the next size smaller). Adhere DSP to card base.

I don't have any stamping or ink on today's card because the Designer Series Paper Collections have such beautiful patterns. it is on a Whisper White base to compliment the DSP.  I used the Autumn Accents Bigz Die 114507 for the leaves. and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies 127553 for the letters.

 

When I send today's card out, I will be stuffing it with the extra leaves for a surprise for the recipient!

These Snowmen faces are peeking through 3 Hexagon Windows.  You can view the video to see how to make these adorable frames.  I did make the frames a bit narrower than the videos shows.  If you LOVE this Winter Frost DSP Stacks 132183 it's in the Holiday Mini.   It comes 48 Sheets 24 of 2 double sided designs. They are 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" and are wonderful to use as a standard card front.
