INSPIRING SUNFLOWER

Who said you had to use the whole background stamp? I saw a couple of cards this week end that inspired this card. Donna at Butternut Sage and the Paper Player's Challenge of 1 layer from last week.  I cut a 2 1/2" square out of a scratch piece of paper and placed it on the Whisper White Card Stock, then inked up my Sunflower Stamp while it was laying on my table. Turn your pattern piece and white cardstock upside down and press it down on the stamp- where the hole is to transfer the ink to the card stock.

Stamp Sets:  Sunflower, Loving Thoughts
Ink:  Summer Starfruit, Stazon Black
Card Stock: Basic Black, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
And More: Corner Rounder, Black Neutral Button, 1/8" Basic Black Ribbon

  1. What a creative use of this stamp. It will be fun to try this with other background stamps, like the swallowtail or en francais. Your card is beautiful.
