GRANDMA'S PARLOR STIPPLED BLOSSOM

Do you remember the large floral wallpaper with the chair rail border and then the smaller trunk print or striped print below?  That's the image I got when I made this card.  In the 80's I had a dining room with the blue & green florals, and now I am a grammy! YIKES! a flash back! Can't remember where the list to remind me what to buy at the store, but the wallpaper from 30 years ago is clear!

After stamping the Whisper White card stock with the Stippled Blossom Stamp Set, I sent it through the Big Shot with the Oval Framelit Dies and then layered the solid color Pretty in Pink cut with the next size larger Oval dies. There are a ton of cards and samples using triple time stamping technique.  It is a great way to layer a stamped background or use a patterned Designer Paper.

  1. Yikes! Thanks for the journey down memory lane. I can go one farther. When I was a kid my parents' bedroom was wallpapered with the biggest white blossoms and big green leaves, no chair rail. Those were the days BEFORE the 2-part wall coverings -- this granny is feeling old. But aren't we better? Love your card and like how you did the ovals. I need to try it. Thanks for the inspiration.
