METAL FLOWERS

It's a fun challenge at The Paper Plunge!  Add some metal to your project or card!  You probably have some metal buttons or brads or hodgepodge among your stash!  How about using them and adding them to our challenge site?  My sis LOVES to alter altoid tins, maybe she will join us with her designs! HINT HINT!

Pop on over to The Paper Plunge and see what we are up to on a weekly basis!

A few years ago I posted a video to make Garden Stakes with butterflies.  I think you can view that video and see how easy it is to make these flowers.  I colored the Facetted Buttons and Metal Flowers with alcohol markers.  Stampin' Up! does NOT carry them at this time, but you can improvise with your favorite brand or use a permanent marker.

The hanging garden markers can be viewed HERE.

Supplies Used:
(Stampin' Up! in BOLD)

Sheet Metal (roofing sheet metal @ hardware store)
Faucetted Buttons
Wire Stems
Alcohol Markers
Hot Glue Gun
Decorative Dots & Spring Flowers Embossing Folders

LION PARTY FAVORS

It's March and as the saying goes "In like a LION out like a Lamb", or visa versa.  We are starting this month's The Paper Plunge challenge with a LION theme.  As I am posting this, I am looking forward to the evening with Harrison & Addy & dinner with their family.  I will be taking their Lion Party Favor Tootsie Pops for a snack after dinner. I used the stamp set You Brighten My Day from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  It's available with a minimum purchase - $50 US.

The punches used are Scallop Circle Punch & Circle Punches.  Depending on the size of Lion head you want will determine the size of punches to use.  These Lions were made to fit on the miniture Tootsie Pops.

The Lion Paw Print was made with the Sweet Heart Punch and the Cupcake Punch.

Looks like we have a pack of Lions to share!
